ONE Championship staged its ONE: “Samurai” combat sports event last night at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. That’s where Nadaka Yoshinari defended his strawweight title opposite S. Kiatsongrit, not long before Avazbek Kholmirzaev captured the bantamweight crown from Yuya Wakamatsu.
In the ONE: “Samurai” main event, Takeru Segawa won the interim flyweight kickboxing title by annihilating Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the fifth round, avenging his previous loss to the Thai legend last March. Segawa, a former K-1 champion, is expected to retire in the wake of his latest victory.

Angry Rodtang fans are calling the finish “scripted” on the promotion’s social media accounts.
Superlek “The Kicking Machine” Kiatmoo9 is the current ONE flyweight kickboxing champion. That said, it doesn’t look like Takeru is going to stick around to unify the titles in a rematch from their ONE 165 showdown in early 2024, which Superlek won by unanimous decision.
