Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs now have a 3-1 lead against the Portland Trail Blazers. After missing Game 3, Wembanyama saw his team's capabilities even more, as they showcased that they can come back from a big deficit to win.
In Game 4, Wemby returned to the active roster. They did the same thing, as they went 17 points down in the second quarter, and they proceeded to dominate in the second half. The Spurs continue to show why they are one of the best teams in the league with their performances in their return to the postseason.
After suffering a concussion in Game 2 against Portland, Wembanyama had to work hard to return to active play. He felt good ahead of Game 3, but the NBA did not allow him to play in that game, so he had to watch from the sidelines.
Thankfully for Wembanyama, his team is filled with amazing players. De'Aaron Fox leads the supporting cast, but it was Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper who stepped up during that Game 3 victory. It further strengthened the Spurs' confidence in their depth ahead of a big Game 4.

Wemby returned for Game 4, and he was immediately impressive. After going down 17, the Spurs ended up winning 114-93. The Frenchman was superb once again, putting up a stat line of 27 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, four steals, and seven blocks.
Despite his amazing performance being the primary reason behind their victory, Wemby did want to highlight what he saw in the previous game that he watched. He believes the Spurs' depth is one of their biggest strengths, especially since the team does not have any big egos.
"We got this connection. I think there's no useless drama between us. We thrive when we do the invisible efforts that benefit each other. There's no jealousy. Nobody cares about their stat line. It's our greatest strength," Wembanyama said about his team's impressive chemistry after Game 4.
The Spurs will likely win the series against the Trail Blazers, which is an impressive feat due to the nature of their victories. Coming back from big leads is tough, and the Spurs have made it look easy in Games 3 and 4. It also erases any narrative about their experience because they all look like savvy veterans out there.
