The Utah Jazz are leveling up on and off the court. Smith Entertainment Group (SEG) is in the midst of a sweeping two-year transformation of the Delta Center, ensuring it becomes a premier dual-sport home for both the NBA's Jazz and the NHL's Utah Mammoth. But the upgrades don't stop at the arena—a brand-new training campus is taking shape in nearby Sandy, Utah, designed to make the state a true destination for professional athletes.

This offseason, fans visiting the Delta Center will notice some major changes. The upper north end zone is getting a fresh look with terrace-style ledges and full-view seating, creating a more connected and immersive game-day atmosphere. Over 200 fans will also get a bird's-eye view from suspended "gondolas" along both sidelines, complete with unique hospitality and gathering spaces. A new parking structure on the arena property is also set to open before the next tip-off.

Looking ahead, 2026 and 2027 will bring even bigger renovations. A new slope design will seamlessly connect the upper and lower seating bowls, while sightlines are being adjusted to perfectly accommodate both basketball and hockey. Suite renovations kick off on the north side in 2026 and wrap up in 2027, alongside fresh food and beverage options, updated concourses, expanded club spaces, and new social areas.

Off the court, the future is just as bright. The Utah Mammoth's training center is already up and running, and now the Jazz are building their own state-of-the-art practice facility right next door. This new training hub will sit alongside a sports medicine center, creating a unified campus that also houses SEG's business offices. Ryan Smith, SEG's chairman and CEO, calls this an "important step in creating Utah as a destination market for professional athletes." For Jazz fans, it means their team is building a championship-caliber foundation from the ground up.
