VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — Aidan Bouman finished his football career at the University of South Dakota with program records in passing yards, completions and attempts.

The former Coyote is now hoping to take his game to the next level and hear his name called in the NFL draft. Bouman finished his college career with 9,278 passing yards and 68 touchdowns. The three-year Coyote captain is confident that any team that gives him a shot will be pleasantly surprised in more than just his ability on the field.

“I feel like I’ve earned the right to have the opportunity,” Bouman said. “At the same time, it’s not in my hands. I’ve done everything I can up to this point. Any team that’s going to take a chance on me at this point, they’re going to be pleasantly surprised with who they have not only as a football player, but as a person.”
