The USC women's basketball program is making serious moves this offseason, and the latest addition comes via the transfer portal. The Women of Troy have officially secured their first transfer of the cycle, landing forward Pania Davis from Florida State.

Davis brings valuable experience and a proven track record to Los Angeles. After beginning her collegiate career at the junior college level, she made an impact in the ACC during the 2025-2026 season, averaging 7.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game across 31 contests for the Seminoles. Her athleticism and rebounding prowess will be a welcome boost to USC's frontcourt.

Head coach Lindsay Gottlieb is clearly excited about the fit. "Pania will be such a dynamic new part of our frontcourt," Gottlieb said. "Her length, athleticism, mobility and skill all fit not only a need for us, but our style of play... I know our Trojan fans will love cheering for her in Galen!"

This signing also continues an intriguing Australian pipeline for USC. Davis, a native of Perth, joins five-star freshman recruit Sitaya Fagan, giving the Trojans a formidable duo from Down Under. It raises an exciting question: could the Women of Troy become a must-watch team for basketball fans nearly 10,000 miles away in Australia?

While that international fanbase develops, one thing is certain for USC supporters closer to home. With a blend of elite high school talent and impactful transfers like Davis, the Trojans are assembling a roster poised for another thrilling season, building on the program's rising momentum in collegiate basketball.
