As college basketball transfer season rolls along, Eric Musselman and USC have been active in looking to improve the team in the portal. On Wednesday, the Trojans picked up another addition, landing Colgate’s Jalen Cox.

Although he spent the past three seasons playing for Colgate, Cox is originally from Los Angeles. As a junior this past season, he averaged 17.9 points, 5.3 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Cox is the Trojans’ third transfer addition of the offseason so far. USC previously added Georgeto guard KJ Lewis and UConn big man Eric Reibe.

In addition to the portal, the Trojans are bringing in the No. 3 recruiting class in the country, as well as bringing back star Rodney Rice. After disappointing seasons in his first two years in Los Angeles, Musselman is loading up on talent with the hope that next year will look very different for the Trojans.
