USC Aiken's polo team brought home more than just a trophy—they brought home a victory for the entire Palmetto State. On March 22, the trio of Briana Jordan, Madison Jordan, and Winnie Branscum made history by defeating Texas A&M University 15-6 to claim the USPA Division I National Intercollegiate Championship Tournament title. Their incredible achievement didn't go unnoticed, and on April 30, the team was officially recognized at the South Carolina Statehouse in Columbia.

Ranked No. 1 in the nation, the team has been turning heads with their skill and determination. "Champions Briana Jordan, Madison Jordan, and Winnie Branscum, under the leadership of Coach Parker Scott, have brought tremendous pride to USCA and the Palmetto State," said S.C. Rep. Bill Taylor, R-Aiken, during the ceremony. It's a moment of glory that resonates far beyond the polo field.

For a relatively small program like USC Aiken, competing against powerhouse teams is no small feat. "The competition is always fierce. It's aggressive, it's physical," Briana Jordan shared during a previous recognition event at USCA. "All the other teams are really, really good programs who have been established for a long time. And us being USCA, we're pretty small, and going into that arena and playing against top level programs is a rewarding feeling, and winning at that high level is also a great feeling for us."

This championship win isn't just a milestone for the team—it's a testament to the power of teamwork, resilience, and a love for the sport. Whether you're a polo enthusiast or just love a good underdog story, this is a moment worth celebrating. And for those looking to channel that champion spirit, there's no better time to gear up with performance apparel that matches your passion for the game.
