The transfer portal in high school football has been as busy as ever this offseason.
There have been plenty of moves in the Sunshine State this offseason, but not every transfer is created equally. Some players, like the ones on this list, are stepping into programs that will lean on them heavily.
We took a look at all the recruits in the USA TODAY Florida Top 100 that have found a new home headed into the 2026 season, and we've singled out a few of these players that enter their senior campaign primed for a big year, in large part because of their new digs.

These players have long been on the radar, but their transfers likely set the stage for monster numbers against high-end competition. Here are five of the new arrivals we're expecting to have the biggest impact at their new schools:
USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 66 overall, No. 3 quarterback
Perrone had a prolific season at Southridge last year, tossing for 3,231 yards and 33 touchdowns with just five interceptions on a 65-percent completion rate. He's also a true rushing threat, and added 636 yards and nine touchdowns on 58 carries. Now at St. Thomas Aquinas, Perrone will be surrounded by some of the most explosive weapons in the country while being protected by an elite offensive line. Expect another year of video game numbers from the USF commit.

Joseph announced himself as one of the most dominant ball-carriers in the state after a three-game stretch in his sophomore year that saw him post 1,027 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. As a junior at Lely, he went for 1,955 rushing yards and 23 scores while averaging 8.1 yards per carry. Now at St. John Neumann under Super Bowl winning coach Chris Maragos, Joseph is primed for yet another explosive campaign.

USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 36 overall, No. 2 tight end
Proctor had an impressive year at Southridge as a junior, catching 30 passes for 604 yards and a team-high 11 touchdowns. He transfers in to perennial power American Heritage, where head coach Mike Smith has always made the most of talented pass catchers. Also arriving is rising junior 5-star quarterback Neimann Lawrence, whom any receiver in the country would want to catch passes from. Proctor, an Auburn commit, enters his senior campaign in a great position to help the Patriots three-peat as state champions.

It would be difficult to standout behind a 5-star senior, but Jackson found a way to put up 1,003 rushing yards and nine touchdowns while averaging a tick over 10 yards per touch at Chaminade-Madonna. He is one of several key new arrivals at Carol City, which now boasts one of the most loaded rosters in the state. With Jackson as the primary option on the ground, the Chiefs can make a case for the most formidable offense in south Florida.

USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 57 overall, No. 5 linebacker
Jackson is a versatile linebacker that immediately boosts a historically strong Vero Beach program upon his arrival. He tallied 63 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and five QBH last season at Legacy. He'll be key for an Indian defense that graduated a good chunk of their production from last season.
