UCF football is already building for the future, and the Knights' 2027 recruiting class just got a major boost over the weekend. Following the team's final spring practice on Saturday, two talented prospects announced their verbal commitments, adding depth and firepower to the program's pipeline.

First up is Noah Robinson, a three-star defensive tackle from Vanguard High School in Ocala. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 245 pounds, Robinson is a force on the interior line. He chose the Knights over nearly a dozen offers from schools like Florida Atlantic, Southern Miss, and Arkansas State. According to 247Sports' composite rankings, he's rated No. 115 among defensive linemen in the class and No. 112 overall in Florida—a solid pickup for a UCF defense looking to reload.

Joining him is Connail Jackson, a dynamic running back from Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota. At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Jackson brings explosive playmaking ability to the backfield. Over three varsity seasons with the Cougars, he rushed for a jaw-dropping 4,170 yards on 401 carries, averaging an incredible 10.4 yards per carry and scoring 68 touchdowns in just 30 games. His junior season was particularly standout: 2,452 rushing yards and 39 touchdowns over 15 games, capped by a Class 2A state championship. In the title game, Jackson earned MVP honors after torching Jacksonville Bolles for 199 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-28 victory. He held 19 offers from powerhouse programs including Auburn, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Michigan State, and USF, making his commitment to UCF a significant win. He's currently ranked as the No. 80 running back in the class.

These two recruits join three-star wide receiver Jamal Robinson Jr., who previously committed to the Knights from Mater Academy Charter in Miami. Together, they form the early foundation of UCF's 2027 class, giving fans plenty of reasons to be excited about the future.

As with all verbal commitments, these are non-binding until players can sign during the early signing period in December. But for now, Knights Nation can celebrate a strong start to the recruiting cycle—and maybe even start thinking about how these future stars will look in UCF gear.
