Tyreek Hill can breathe a little easier now. The star wide receiver, who has suited up for both the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins, recently resolved a civil lawsuit filed by a social-media influencer—taking one legal headache off his plate just as he looks toward the 2026 season.
According to the Miami Herald, Hill reached a settlement last week with Sophie Hall, who claimed she suffered a broken leg after the receiver shoved her during a football drill at his home. The agreement came mid-trial, after Hall testified in court that Hill "charged" at her during the workout. Hill's legal team countered that Hall "assumed any risk" of injury by voluntarily participating in the drill. As is common in civil settlements, the financial terms were not made public.
This resolution arrives amid a broader storm for the 31-year-old pass-catcher. Hill is also navigating a contentious divorce, where his estranged wife has leveled accusations of multiple domestic violence incidents. Recently, her legal team has pushed to uncover evidence tied to past allegations, including a 2019 investigation into whether Hill broke his son's arm. The NFL has opened its own investigation under the league's Personal Conduct Policy based on the divorce case claims.
On the field, Hill's future remains uncertain but promising. After suffering a serious knee injury during the 2025 season, he was released by the Dolphins in March. However, agent Drew Rosenhaus has confirmed Hill intends to play in 2026—meaning the speedster who once electrified fans with jaw-dropping touchdowns might still have more highlights left in him.
