"I don't know," Hinch said Friday, keeping his cards close to the vest. "I'll let Q [Royals manager Matt Quatraro] know tonight after the game, depending on who we use and how we go into tomorrow. I'll trade him out for Sunday's starter."

Tarik Skubal is out after elbow surgery to remove a loose body, with no clear timeline for his return.
