For a club synonymous with silverware, two consecutive seasons without a major trophy is a significant drought. This dry spell for Real Madrid isn't just a blow to their legendary prestige; it's having a tangible financial impact, with the squad's collective market value taking a substantial hit.

A recent analysis of Transfermarkt data reveals a startling collective devaluation of approximately €176 million since the summer of 2024. This decline underscores how on-field success is intrinsically linked to player valuation in the modern game.

The list of players whose values have dipped makes for sobering reading. Key talents like Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga have seen their valuations halve, dropping from €110 million and €100 million respectively to €50 million each. Even superstars haven't been immune, with Jude Bellingham falling from €180 million to €140 million and Vinicius Jr. dipping to €150 million from €180 million.

It's not all downward trend, however. A handful of players have bucked the overall slump. Youngster Arda Güler's value has tripled from €30 million to €90 million, a testament to his breakout potential. New arrival Kylian Mbappé has also inched up, now valued at a staggering €200 million. Notably, Fede Valverde remains a rock of consistency, holding firm at his €120 million valuation.

This market correction serves as a stark reminder that in elite football, performance and trophies are the ultimate currency. As the club looks to rebuild its dominance on the pitch, reversing this valuation trend will be a key indicator of its return to the summit.
