Brice Turang hit a two-run homer and stretched his on-base streak to 18 games as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Miami Marlins 5-2 on Saturday. William Contreras and Luis Rengifo doubled and Brandon Lockridge added an RBI single for the Brewers, who have won four straight after a six-game losing streak. Brandon Woodruff (2-0) pitched a season-high seven innings in his fourth start, allowing one run on three hits with four strikeouts to move to 5-0 in seven career starts against the Marlins.

The Milwaukee Brewers' offense is heating up at the perfect time, and second baseman Brice Turang is leading the charge. On Saturday, Turang launched a two-run homer and extended his impressive on-base streak to 18 games, powering the Brewers to a 5-2 victory over the Miami Marlins for their fourth consecutive win.

Turang's blast, a 402-foot shot off Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara in the fifth inning, broke a 1-1 tie and gave Milwaukee a lead they wouldn't relinquish. He later added an RBI single, capping off another strong performance that has him hitting .281 with three homers this season. The Brewers' lineup showed depth, with William Contreras and Luis Rengifo contributing doubles and Brandon Lockridge chipping in an RBI single.

On the mound, Brandon Woodruff delivered a masterful performance, pitching a season-high seven innings of one-run ball. He scattered just three hits and struck out four, continuing his personal dominance over Miami by improving to a perfect 5-0 in seven career starts against them. His outing provided the stability the Brewers needed after a recent six-game skid, showcasing the team's resilience.

The Marlins, who have now dropped four straight, saw Alcantara struggle with his command, issuing a season-high six walks. After beginning the year with over 24 scoreless innings, the ace has now allowed 10 runs over his last two starts. Miami's bullpen couldn't stop the bleeding, as reliever Anthony Bender walked two and allowed two runs in the sixth inning, exiting to a chorus of boos from the home crowd.

Milwaukee's bullpen navigated a tense ninth inning, with Abner Uribe inducing a game-ending groundout with the bases loaded to secure his second save. The Brewers will look to complete the series sweep on Sunday, while the Marlins hope for a spark from the expected season debut of All-Star outfielder Kyle Stowers.
