Guard Trey Perry, a former Lakota East High School standout who entered the transfer portal after playing one season for the Miami University RedHawks, committed to Coastal Carolina, Perry announced in an Instagram post.
As a freshman, Perry averaged 5.8 points in 13.1 minutes per game over 32 games.
In February, Perry made a game-winning shot at Western Michigan to lift the RedHawks to a 29-0 record.
Forward Brant Byers, Perry's teammate at Miami last season, reportedly committed to Penn State. Guard/forward Eian Elmer, a former Taft High School standout who entered the transfer portal after playing three seasons for the RedHawks, committed to Wisconsin.
