Kaulig Racing has announced the extreme sports star as the driver of its No. 25 truck at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Get ready for some high-octane action at Charlotte Motor Speedway! Extreme sports icon Travis Pastrana is set to make a thrilling return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, this time behind the wheel of Kaulig Racing's No. 25 Ram 1500. The announcement has fans buzzing, as Pastrana brings his signature blend of daredevil energy and competitive spirit to the track.

"I love racing and competing at everything, and NASCAR is one of the biggest and most competitive stages on earth," said Pastrana. "Having the opportunity to hop in the No. 25 Ram truck with Kaulig Racing through the Free Agent Program is an amazing opportunity. These Ram 1500s are so much fun to drive. We're going to go out there, put on a show for the fans and see what we can do."

Pastrana is no stranger to the NASCAR world. The 42-year-old action sports legend—an 11-time X Games gold medalist and rally driving ace—has 42 starts in the NASCAR O'Reilly Series, including a pole at Talladega and a best finish of ninth. He also competed in the 2023 Daytona 500, finishing an impressive 11th with 23XI Racing. In the Truck Series, Pastrana has seven previous starts, with a career-best 13th-place finish. His most recent outing came in the 2026 season-opener at Daytona, where he placed 15th driving for Niece Motorsports.

This race marks Pastrana's first time on the Charlotte oval in a truck, though he has three prior starts there in the O'Reilly Series between 2012 and 2013. Fans can expect nothing less than a show-stopping performance as he adapts to the powerful Ram 1500 on the 1.5-mile track.

The No. 25 truck serves as Kaulig Racing's "free-agent" entry, featuring a rotating cast of stars throughout the season. Pastrana joins an impressive lineup that already includes Tony Stewart, Ty Dillon, Colin Braun, Corey LaJoie, Parker Kligerman, and Carson Ferguson. Future races will see veterans like A.J. Allmendinger, Jamie McMurray, and Clint Bowyer take the wheel, making this one of the most exciting rides in the series.

Whether you're a longtime NASCAR fan or just love watching legends push the limits, this race promises to be a must-watch. Gear up for an unforgettable night under the lights at Charlotte Motor Speedway!
