Portland earned the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and will face the San Antonio Spurs in the first round.

The Portland Trail Blazers are heading to the playoffs as the West's No. 7 seed, but they had to survive a heart-stopping play-in battle to get there. On Tuesday night, Portland engineered a stunning fourth-quarter comeback, erasing an 11-point deficit to steal a 114-110 victory from the Phoenix Suns on their home floor.

The game was decided in a frantic final minute. After Jordan Goodwin's layup put Phoenix up 110-109 with 32 seconds left, Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija delivered the play of the night. He powered to the rim for a tough layup, drew the foul, and completed the clutch three-point play to reclaim a 112-110 lead. Phoenix had a final look to win it, but a missed three-pointer and a crucial Matisse Thybulle strip sealed a massive road win for Portland.

Avdija was spectacular, pouring in a game-high 41 points and dishing out 12 assists to will his team to victory. The Blazers also welcomed back Jerami Grant from a calf injury, and his corner three-pointer in the final two minutes gave Portland a critical late lead in a back-and-forth finish.

With the win, Portland secures a first-round playoff matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. The Suns, meanwhile, face a win-or-go-home scenario on Friday, where they will host the winner of the Los Angeles Clippers-Golden State Warriors play-in game for the right to claim the No. 8 seed and a date with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
