Luka Vušković has all but confirmed his time at Hamburger SV is coming to an end. The 19-year-old Croatian center-back, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, revealed he's "99.9 percent" certain he'll leave the club when the season concludes.

Vušković made the admission in the mixed zone after scoring in HSV's thrilling 3-2 win over SC Freiburg on Saturday—a match he believes was his final appearance at the Volksparkstadion. "To a 99.9 percent certainty, it was my farewell party," he acknowledged.

The moment was made even more special by the presence of his brother, Mario Vušković, who is currently serving a doping ban but will be eligible to return to action in November. Their parents joined them in the stands, creating a family affair that added emotional weight to the occasion.

"It's a special moment. I'm very happy that I could help this team. And I'm very happy that I was allowed to be part of this club," Luka Vušković said.

Since arriving last summer, Vušković has made a huge impact, becoming HSV's joint-top scorer alongside fellow loanee Fabio Vieira, who is contracted to Arsenal. Vieira is also set to return to his parent club this summer, meaning HSV will lose two of its most influential players.

HSV coach Merlin Polzin substituted both players in stoppage time, giving them what he described as a "special moment" to acknowledge the fans. "I had the privilege of coaching these players for a year, and I'm very happy about that because they played a superb season," Polzin said.

Despite the impending departures, Polzin remained confident in his squad's future. "No one needs to worry that we won't be ready next year," he insisted.
