
After a down season in the Big 12, Baylor men's basketball coach Scott Drew hopes that his Bears will be back at the top of the conference in 2026-2027. The program has made some headline moves this offseason, punctuated by the commitment of highly touted prospect Dylan Mingo.
USA TODAY Sports reports that the combo guard will take his talents to Baylor after completing a standout high school career in New York.
Dylan Mingo joins his brother Kayden with the Bears, the latter of whom had a productive freshman season with Penn State before jumping into the transfer portal. Kayden Mingo averaged over 13 points and four assists per game with the Nittany Lions, and also led the Big Ten in steals with over two swipes per contest.

Dylan Mingo originally committed to North Carolina and former Tar Heels head coach Hubert Davis but backed out once the program let Davis go.
