Bayern Munich have officially ruled out a summer move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, with the Bundesliga champions deeming the Serbian international "too expensive" for their current plans. The 26-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a potential switch to the Allianz Arena for months, but it appears those rumors can finally be put to rest.

The decision comes as Bayern prepare to part ways with Nicolas Jackson, who will return to Chelsea after his loan spell ends. That leaves Harry Kane as the club's only established striker, raising questions about depth heading into next season. However, the Bavarian giants are taking a cautious approach to the transfer market.

Vlahovic's situation at Juventus has been a hot topic in Italian media, with reports suggesting he's waiting for offers from either Bayern or Barcelona. The striker is set to become a free agent next month, and while renewal talks with Juventus are underway, his camp has been expecting interest from Europe's elite. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, five separate meetings have already taken place between Juventus directors and Vlahovic's father and representative, Milos.

The sticking point? Wages. Vlahovic currently earns around €12 million per year in Turin, but Juventus have offered a reduced deal worth roughly €7 million annually. While the player's side has shown some flexibility, no agreement has been reached.

But according to Christian Falk of CFBayern Insider, the German champions are not part of that conversation. "It is NOT TRUE that Dusan Vlahovic is on Bayern's radar," Falk stated. "Bayern think he's too expensive an option to pursue at this point. The salary would be a big topic in the team if they were to sign him. He's not on the shortlist of three players discussed inside the club."

Instead, Bayern are shifting their focus elsewhere. Falk revealed that there's still hope around young talent Yan Diomande, though he too would come with a hefty price tag. Meanwhile, the club's Plan A remains Anthony Gordon, as they look to reinforce their attacking options without breaking the bank—or upsetting the wage structure.
