Tom Brady is heading back to where it all began—but this time, he'll be in the broadcast booth. The legendary quarterback is set to return to Foxborough, Massachusetts, for the first time in his broadcasting career when Fox Sports airs the Week 9 matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots.

Brady, widely regarded as the greatest of all time, won six Super Bowl championships during his storied tenure with the Patriots. He last visited New England in August 2023, when the team unveiled a statue in his honor outside Gillette Stadium. Thankfully, the sculpture captured a suitable likeness—unlike some infamous statues of Cristiano Ronaldo and Dwyane Wade that missed the mark.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion (he added another ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2020-21 season) is now entering his third season as the color analyst for Fox's top NFL broadcast team, working alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.

In his first season as a broadcaster, Brady wasn't assigned any Patriots games. That made sense at the time—New England struggled to a 4-13 record, far from the spotlight of national telecasts. Last season, however, the Patriots flipped the script entirely. They shocked the NFL by finishing 14-3 and making an incredible run to the Super Bowl. But even then, Brady didn't call any of their games. The AFC broadcast package belongs to CBS, while Fox primarily covers NFC matchups. NBC handled the Super Bowl telecast, so Brady never got the chance to call a Patriots game during the postseason.

Now, fresh off that Super Bowl run, the Patriots are back in the national conversation—and Brady will be there to call the action. It promises to be an emotional and unforgettable return for the GOAT, and a must-watch moment for football fans everywhere.
