Get ready for a night of laughs and baseball as the Toledo Mud Hens celebrate one of their own! The Detroit Tigers' Triple-A affiliate is hosting a special theme night dedicated to "The Paper," Peacock's hit newspaper-themed sitcom, on May 23.

This show, a spinoff of the beloved NBC series "The Office," follows the antics of a struggling Toledo newspaper. Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Chelsea Frei, "The Paper" debuted in September 2025 and has already been renewed for a second season, launching this September.

Fans of the show won't want to miss the highlight of the night: a special appearance by Oscar Nuñez, who reprises his iconic role as accountant Oscar Martinez—a character he famously played on "The Office." Nuñez will be signing autographs and snapping photos with fans at Hensville Park, just outside Fifth Third Field, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The Mud Hens will take on the Indianapolis Indians (the Pittsburgh Pirates' affiliate) in what promises to be an exciting game, followed by a dazzling post-game fireworks show. It's the perfect blend of sports and pop culture for a memorable evening out.

Tickets for this unique event range from $18 to $21 and are available now on the Mud Hens' website. Whether you're a die-hard baseball fan, a "The Paper" enthusiast, or just looking for a fun night out, this is a home run of an event you won't want to miss!
