The Tennessee Titans' 2026 NFL schedule is surprisingly comfortable, making them one of the biggest winners after the schedule release.

The Tennessee Titans may have been left out of the primetime spotlight for the second year in a row, but don't let that fool you—there's plenty of reason for optimism in Nashville. When the 2026 NFL schedule was officially released, the initial disappointment of no night games quickly gave way to a bigger realization: the Titans were dealt one of the most favorable schedules in the entire league.

According to CBS Sports' Garrett Podell, that's exactly why Tennessee landed in the "winners" column after the schedule drop. "Normally, you wouldn't see a team with zero primetime games in the winners section," Podell noted. "But the Titans earn their spot because they have perhaps the most comfortable schedule in the NFL."

So, what makes it so comfortable? For starters, the Titans have a full week of rest before every single game—no short weeks, no Thursday night travel scrambles. Their bye comes right at the halfway point in Week 9, giving the team a perfect midseason reset. And here's the real kicker: all but one of their games are played in or within an hour of their home time zone. The lone exception is a Week 16 trip to the Las Vegas Raiders, which will require a Pacific Time adjustment. That's as close to a home-field advantage as you can get without actually playing at Nissan Stadium every week.

For a team in the middle of a rebuild, this schedule is a gift. It allows the Titans to build momentum early with winnable matchups, while the later weeks feature high-profile games that could serve as measuring sticks for progress. From a logistical standpoint, it's hard to imagine a more player-friendly setup—and that could be the edge Tennessee needs to take a meaningful step forward in 2026.
