ESPN’s post-draft rankings featured multiple Titans selections among the top picks, praising Tennessee’s value and overall fit.

The Tennessee Titans came away from the 2026 NFL Draft with plenty of reasons to celebrate, and ESPN's post-draft rankings have only added to the excitement. After making eight selections, the Titans' aggressive approach to addressing key roster needs has earned high praise from analysts, with several picks landing among the top-ranked in the league.

ESPN draft expert Matt Miller released his top-100 list of the best picks across all seven rounds, and the Titans featured prominently. The selections not only filled immediate gaps but also set the stage for long-term success, particularly on offense.

One of the most intriguing picks was wide receiver Tate, who came off the board earlier than some expected. While prospects like Reese and Styles were still available, Miller argues this was far from a misstep. "Tate checks off a huge need for a team that lacks a true future WR1," Miller noted. With Calvin Ridley now 31 and only two years left on his contract, the Titans wisely started planning ahead—even after adding Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency. Tate, ranked as Miller's WR2 in the class, brings elite route-running and reliable hands that could become a safety net for second-year quarterback Cam Ward. Building a young QB-WR duo that can grow together is a textbook move for sustainable success.

On the defensive side, the Titans struck gold with linebacker Hill. Based on pre-draft intel and new head coach Robert Saleh's defensive background, Hill would have been a strong choice even with a late first-round pick. Instead, Tennessee landed him at the end of Round 2—an incredible value. A three-year starter at Texas, Hill showcased versatility as a blitzing linebacker and even flashed edge rusher potential as a sophomore, finishing his college career with 17 sacks. His burst and agility also make him a threat in coverage, evidenced by three interceptions. He'll immediately compete with Cody Barton and Cedric Gray for a starting role.

Scheme fit was another major factor in the Titans' draft success, especially for Saleh, who previously served as San Francisco's defensive coordinator. In his system, mammoth defensive linemen like DeForest Buckner and Arik Armstead thrived. Now, Saleh has found his next big body to anchor the trenches, continuing a tradition of power and disruption up front.

From addressing future needs at wide receiver to finding defensive gems with high upside, the Titans' draft class has all the makings of a franchise-altering haul. For Titans fans, these rankings are just the latest sign that brighter days are ahead in Nashville.
