It was a whirlwind day for Tennessee Titans second-round pick Anthony Hill Jr. The rookie linebacker packed his schedule with a workout, community service, and even signing his first NFL contract—showing that his commitment to Nashville goes far beyond the gridiron.
Hill joined fellow Titans rookies at the Second Harvest Food Bank, where they rolled up their sleeves to fill boxes with food and essentials for families in need. For Hill, it was more than just a volunteer shift—it was a chance to connect with the city that will be cheering him on every Sunday.
"We all knew each other from around the country, but just being able to meet with them and get to know them on a personal level has been cool," Hill shared while on site. "We just got done working out, so we came straight here. Now we're packing boxes, helping kids around the area in Tennessee. It's about getting integrated with the city."
For a young athlete stepping into the NFL spotlight, community engagement isn't just an obligation—it's a foundation. Hill emphasized why building those bonds early matters: "I feel like it's important to get to know the city and the people who are rooting for you. It creates a deeper connection."
Hill and this rookie class are proving they're leaders both on the field and off. As the Titans focus on rebuilding their culture, these community-minded players are already making an impact—one box, one handshake, and one connection at a time.
