The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off live from Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 23 and the latest crop of rookies will be hearing their names called all weekend long. For the Tennessee Titans, the biggest need is an obvious one: Wide receiver.

Improving the talent around 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward is imperative for the quarterback's development. Tennessee had the 30th-ranked passing attack last year, and leading receiver Elic Ayomanor had just 515 receiving yards in 2025. Tight end Chig Okonkwo, who had a team-high 56 receptions, left for Washington in free agency.

Tennessee built up the defense through free agency but we're sure Robert Saleh would like to find his own Fred Warner in Nashville. Reese may never reach those high standards but he's an incredible athlete who improved to become one of the top prospects in the class regardless of position.

Simmons was easily the Titans' best player in 2025, earning himself All-Pro honors for a season in which he tallied 11 sacks in 15 games. That's astounding production on the interior, and he's still under contract for two years. As rough as trading away Simmons would appear in the short-term, his value may never be higher. In a long-term vision for the team, Tennessee could really use the extra draft picks to keep building the roster around young quarterback Cam Ward after his promising rookie season.
