Wisconsin baseball fans, get ready to celebrate—three familiar names from the Badger State and a top Milwaukee Brewers prospect just took home weekly minor-league honors across Class A. Leading the charge is Andrew Fischer, the Brewers' slugging first-round draft pick from 2025, who earned Midwest League Player of the Week for his explosive performance.

Fischer, ranked as the organization's No. 5 prospect, put on a show on May 10 during the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers' 15-8 win over the Peoria Chiefs. He went 4-for-6 with two home runs, a triple, and five RBIs, marking his fourth straight game reaching base at least twice. Earlier in the week, he also added a double and another homer. Through Advanced Class A, Fischer boasts an impressive .988 OPS with a .365 on-base percentage, nine home runs, eight doubles, and 26 RBIs—a stat line that has Brewers fans buzzing about his future.

But Fischer wasn't the only one making waves. Fellow first-round pick Dean Kilen, taken 13th overall by the San Francisco Giants in 2025—seven spots ahead of Fischer—was named Northwest League Player of the Week. The shortstop for the Advanced Class A Eugene Emeralds, and a former Tennessee Volunteer, matched Fischer's heroics with a four-hit game on May 10, including a home run and three RBIs. He also crushed two doubles, a homer, and drove in five runs on May 9. After a single on May 12, Kilen extended his hitting streak to seven games. At 22, he's posting an .863 OPS with a .310 average and four homers, all while playing strong defense, earning him a No. 5 prospect ranking from MLB Pipeline in the Giants' system.

Rounding out the Wisconsin trio is pitcher Jack Snead, who teamed with Fischer and Kilen at Tennessee. Snead took home Northwest League Pitcher of the Week honors for the Tri-City Dust Devils. In his start on May 7, he was nearly flawless: six innings, 18 batters faced, 18 retired, and six strikeouts—a perfect performance. The Dust Devils' bullpen couldn't preserve the no-hitter (Spokane's Tevin Tucker led off the seventh with a single), but Snead's dominance was the story of the night.
