We are officially less than four days away from the 2026 NFL Draft, and the excitement surrounding the Cleveland Browns' fanbase continues to grow before the highly anticipated event.

General manager Andrew Berry focused most of his attention on the offensive side of the ball so far this offseason, but the one position group that the struggling franchise did not target in free agency was the quarterback position. With 2025 fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders and veteran Deshaun Watson as the frontrunners to start for the Browns in 2026, Berry made it clear earlier this offseason that the front office could target a young quarterback in this year's draft. And while there is a lack of top-end players in the class, there are plenty of late-round flyers the Browns could choose from in the upcoming draft.

Here are three late-round quarterback prospects to keep an eye on for the Browns heading into the 2026 NFL Draft.

Could the Browns take the hometown kid in Penn State quarterback Drew Allar?

While many fans were sold on the idea of Allar being selected in round one of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Medina, OH, native decided to stay at State College for the 2025 season to improve his stock. Unfortunately for Allar, a season-ending injury early in the season completely derailed his chances of being a first-round pick, and he is now projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2026 draft.

Allar clearly has the traits to be an elite quarterback in the NFL - his arm talent and mobility at 6-foot-5 is truly a rare blend for a prospect. But if Berry decides to take a swing on the local kid, the 22-year-old must improve his accuracy from within the pocket.

Another name that was widely considered one of the top quarterbacks before the 2025 college football season was Clemson's Cade Klubnik, who failed to take the next step in his development.

After showing plenty of flashes during the 2024 season, Klubnik regressed along with the rest of the Tigers this past year, throwing for 2,943 yards and 16 touchdowns. This caused his stock to completely plummet, and the 22-year-old is projected to be a late Day Two, early Day Three pick in the upcoming draft.

Still, Klubnik's dual-threat ability perfectly aligns with Monken's style of play on offense. Taking a shot on Klubnik in the later rounds of the draft makes perfect sense for Cleveland, and the young playmaker could find himself in the battle for the starting quarterback job if selected by the organization.

Of the three quarterbacks listed, Arkansas' Taylen Green has the most intriguing profile heading into the draft.

Standing 6-foot-6 and 227 lbs., Green had one of the best combine performances by a quarterback in recent memory, running a blazing 4.36 40-yard dash and recording a 43.5-inch vertical. However, while his athletic profile is nothing short of incredible, the former Razorback standout will need plenty of development before he is truly ready to start for an NFL team.

Luckily for the Browns, there is a good chance that Green could fall to Day Three of the upcoming draft, putting the organization in perfect range to take a flyer on him. If Green were selected by Cleveland, he would make for a perfect QB3 under Monken while both Sanders and Watson compete for the starting job.
