Now, with his legal situation resolved, one NFC team stands out as a perfect landing spot: the Washington Commanders.

The Commanders already have star wideout Terry McLaurin, but Deebo Samuel is a free agent and not expected to return. While the team drafted Clemson's Antonio Williams in the third round, the receiving corps remains unproven beyond McLaurin. Adding a veteran like Diggs would give quarterback Jayden Daniels a reliable second target and inject experience into a young room. Diggs might be open to a short-term deal, and joining a team that reached the NFC Championship just two seasons ago could be appealing.
