The Austin Packers girls golf team put on a strong showing on their home turf, securing a second-place finish in a tight quadrangular meet at Austin Country Club.

Leading the charge for Austin was standout Ailani Thiravong, who fired an impressive round of 76 to claim medalist honors, topping the entire field.

The team battle was incredibly close, with the Packers posting a total score of 354, just three strokes behind first-place Rochester Mayo (351). Rochester Century (367) and Rochester John Marshall (388) rounded out the team standings.

Behind Thiravong's low score, the Packers received solid contributions from Lucy Annis (85), Reagan Harty (96), and Gracie Greenman (97), showcasing the team's depth. Every stroke counts in a match that close, and this performance is a great building block for the season.
