The wide receiver competition remains one of the most intriguing storylines of camp, with a host of players vying for roles. This week, two names rose to the top for Scalley: Creed Whittemore and Nate Johnson.

Scalley made a point to highlight Whittemore's development, a significant nod for a player looking to lock down the slot receiver position. "Creed’s a guy that has made a ton of progress. He’s leading by example," Scalley said. His reunion with receivers coach Chad Bumphis this spring appears to be paying dividends. Meanwhile, Nate Johnson also earned a shoutout from Scalley after a strong practice, underscoring the depth and competition within the unit.
