With the 2026 NFL Draft weekend upon us, teams will introduce their latest rookie class to the league in hopes of having them become part of the next Super Bowl puzzle. The draft also means finalizing past trades that included future draft picks. That includes a deal made in September, which sent wide cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. from the Tennessee Titans to the New York Jets.
Jets receive: Jarvis Brownlee Jr., 2026 seventh-round pick
With the No. 194 overall pick, the Titans selected Indiana center Pat Coogan.
After his surprising trade in Week 3, Brownlee played in just seven games for the Jets down the stretch of the season. He recorded 36 tackles and forced a fumble during his time on the field. The hope is that, with a full offseason in New York, Brownlee can bounce back after showing progress in his rookie year with the Titans.
The Jets traded the pick to the Miami Dolphins to acquire defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.
