With the 2026 NFL Draft weekend now here, teams will introduce their latest rookie class to the league in hopes of having them become part of the next Super Bowl puzzle. The draft also means finalizing past trades that included future draft picks. That includes a deal made in September, which sent running back Tank Bigsby from the Jacksonville Jaguars to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jaguars receive: 2026 fifth-round pick, 2026 sixth-round pick

Bigsby played in 16 games for the Eagles this past season, running the ball 58 times for 344 yards and two touchdowns. He proved to be a solid second running back behind Saquon Barkley in the backfield.

The 166th pick was traded as part of the package to move up to 119 and take Wesley Williams.

This trade will ultimately determine its winner based on how the rookies perform for the Jaguars.

The deal has so far been a positive for both sides. Bigsby has provided depth for the Eagles’ backfield, and the trade also opened up an opportunity for 2025 fourth-round pick Bhayshul Tuten to have more of a workload. Tuten ran the ball 83 times for 307 yards and five touchdowns with the Jags.
