Following their 2-1 win over Southampton in the first FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, Manchester City now have six matches remaining in the 2025-26 season. Until earlier today, the dates of Manchester City’s Premier League fixtures were not confirmed. The Premier League has now confirmed when Manchester City’s fixtures against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium and City’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the Etihad will take place. To take out the domestic treble, Pep Guardiola’s side will have to run the gauntlet as they now face a grueling run of fixtures to end this season.

The Premier League today announced when Manchester City’s fixtures against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace will take place. Pep Guardiola’s side will take on Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on May 13. Manchester City’s clash with Bournemouth will take place at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday, May 19.

The issue for Manchester City is that they take on Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, May 16. This season’s FA Cup final is sandwiched between two crucial Premier League fixtures for Pep Guardiola’s side. City are involved in a tight and tense Premier League title race with Arsenal. With the Premier League having now confirmed City’s final fixtures of the season, City will have to overcome a grueling set of fixtures to claim a domestic treble this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side face Everon this upcoming Monday at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Including that match, Manchester City will face six matches in 20 days to end this season. It is a grueling run of fixtures for City to overcome. The fact that City must travel to London for the FA Cup final, and then to Bournemouth four days later makes it that little bit be testing. However, there is no time for Pep Guardiola’s side to feel sorry for themselves.

The gauntlet has been laid down for Manchester City. They know the equation they must solve. The likely equation is that six wins in all competitions will see City claim the domestic treble this season. That is all that Pep Guardiola’s side can focus on, nothing else. Manchester City’s fixture list isn’t ideal, but nothing is in football. All City can do is take it game by game and see where they end up, nothing more. That starts this Monday against Everton.

The road Manchester City must travel to hopefully claim the domestic treble this season has been laid out. It is a grueling run of fixtures for Pep Guardiola’s side. There is no doubt about that. However, City have the quality to overcome it. Whether or not they can, will dictate whether or not Pep Guardiola’s side can create history yet again this season.
