The NFL is still buzzing over the LA Rams taking Ty Simpson at No. 13 in the draft, but those in the know knew the Rams were about to pull something big.
The thought, according to most NFL experts, was that Simpson wouldn’t be picked until the bottom of the first round or the beginning of the second round, but that’s what the Rams apparently wanted teams to think.

As far as Sean McVay’s demeanor, according to Ian Rapoport, it was basically to soothe the ego of Matthew Stafford.
