For the second consecutive game, the Tulsa Drillers' offense exploded into double digits, and they needed every single run in a dramatic 12-9 comeback victory over the Springfield Cardinals. The win was part of a successful Thursday for the Dodgers' farm system, with three of their top four affiliates securing victories.

The engine behind Tulsa's offensive surge continues to be leadoff hitter Kendall George. Serving as the designated hitter, George was a constant menace, reaching base in four of his six plate appearances and directly contributing to a quarter of the Drillers' runs. He finished the night 3-for-5 with a double and a walk, but his biggest moment came with the game on the line.

In the ninth inning, with the score tied, George delivered a clutch go-ahead single to put Tulsa up 10-9. He then immediately showcased his elite speed, stealing second base for his fifth swipe of the young season—remaining a perfect 5-for-5 on steal attempts. Pitchers are finding it tough to navigate the top of the Drillers' order, as George is seeing good pitches with the dangerous Josue De Paula looming behind him.

While Tulsa celebrated, it was a tough night for the Oklahoma City Baseball Club. Starter River Ryan battled without his best stuff, allowing eight baserunners over 4.1 innings, though he limited the damage to just two earned runs. The bullpen, however, couldn't hold the line. Relievers combined to issue eight walks, a critical difference in a tight 6-5 loss where both teams notched 13 hits.

The walks proved costly, as the Club struggled to capitalize with runners in scoring position, going just 3-for-14. Adding to the offensive frustration was a rare off-night for early-season standout James Tibbs III, who went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts. Despite a four-hit game from another batter, the missed opportunities sealed the narrow defeat.
