Reddick was a non-factor for the Jets after being traded there in the 2024 offseason. He was a holdout to start the season after having displeasure with his contract, and missed the first seven weeks of the year.
Reddick finally showed up to work after that after agreeing to a contract adjustment with the Jets. He ended up being a regular on defense after that, playing in the final 10 games of the year, while recording 14 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack for the Jets.
In 2025, Reddick signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency, but struggled there as well, recording only 2.5 sacks in 13 games with the team.
While the Bryce Huff signing didn’t work out in Reddick’s place, the Eagles were clear winners of this trade, as Reddick didn’t produce much for the Jets in his lone year there.
To get a third-round pick, especially one as high as No. 68, is a great return for a player who didn’t have a future in Philadelphia.
