The Chicago Bears have expectations this season. So, apparently, does everybody else. Who knew?

The Chicago Bears are heading into the 2026 season with sky-high expectations—and apparently, the rest of the NFL world agrees. Who saw that coming?

An NFL analyst has set a high bar for quarterback Caleb Williams in 2026, and honestly, that's exactly what you want to hear. After all, analysts are paid to have expectations, and we're all here for it.

Meanwhile, the Bears' draft pick Dillon Thieneman is already earning top-15 rankings from draft analysts. It's comforting to see the future looking bright in Chicago.

Looking ahead, predictions are already rolling in for who the Bears might select in the first round of the 2027 NFL Draft. Of course, it's tough to project when you're picking at No. 32—but Denmaster Ken has his sights set high.

In other league news, Drake Maye is backing Mike Vrabel, insisting it won't be a distraction. Jameis Winston is taking a surprising turn as a World Cup correspondent for Fox—expect him to be a fantastic broadcaster when he eventually hangs up his cleats.

Calais Campbell shared that he wanted to go somewhere he could make plays and win games. Nathan Peterman is set to participate in the Broncos' rookie minicamp. And "Cooter" says they'll get good work out of Anthony Richardson—though we're keeping the Den classy today and avoiding the easy jokes.

Younghoe Koo will attend the Saints' rookie minicamp as a tryout player. (We're trying really hard to behave here. REALLY hard.)

As for the Bears' road ahead, a report says they have the sixth-hardest strength of schedule... for now. A post-draft projection of the 53-man roster is also making rounds, along with a look at Chicago's new safety tandem—is it a new trend or a re-tread?
