Chelsea are standing firm on their valuation of Nicolas Jackson, with the club reportedly still viewing the striker as a £60m asset despite a loan spell at Bayern Munich that didn't quite go as planned.

According to The Athletic, the Blues haven't wavered in their belief that Jackson's market value remains intact, even after the Senegal international spent the season playing second fiddle to Harry Kane in Germany. The 24-year-old joined Bayern on a season-long loan on deadline day last summer, but the German champions have decided against making the move permanent.

Jackson's time in the Bundesliga has been a mixed bag. While he's managed 10 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions, he's started just 13 games for the Bavarian giants. However, there are positive signs: he's found the back of the net in each of his last three Bundesliga outings, contributing to Bayern's latest title triumph.

With his return to Stamford Bridge looming this summer, Jackson's future is far from settled. Several clubs from England and Italy have expressed interest, though a path back into the Chelsea squad hasn't been entirely ruled out either. Much could depend on who takes the reins as the next head coach in West London.

For Chelsea fans and transfer watchers, this is a situation worth monitoring. Jackson's loan may not have boosted his stock the way the club hoped, but the Blues are clearly betting that his potential—and recent form—still commands a premium price tag.
