Former Texas women's basketball player Justice Carlton has found her new home.
Carlton announced on Sunday that she will transfer to Houston. Carlton spent the first two years of her college career at Texas, but she entered the transfer portal shortly after the 2025-26 season ended.
A 6-foot-1 forward and a top-20 prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle, Carlton started 28 times for Texas this past season and averaged 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. After a 15-point performance against South Carolina in the SEC championship game on March 8, Carlton earned a spot on the SEC's all-tournament team.
Carlton joins a Houston team that went 7-23 this past season with a 1-17 mark in Big 12 play. A Katy native, Carlton is also joining a team that signed her younger sister, Madison, during the 2026 recruiting cycle.
