Texas football will likely have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
That's when quarterback Arch Manning will likely be selected by whichever team holds the No. 1 pick after the Longhorns' signal-caller opted to return for his redshirt junior season in 2027. Manning — the nephew of former NFL stars Peyton and Eli Manning — was presumed to be the favorite to be the No. 1 pick this season.

despite Manning remaining at school and forgoing this draft cycle, the Longhorns will likely still have some talent to send to the league. After seeing 12 players drafted in the 2025 draft, Texas has 14 players eligible to be selected this year.
More than likely, the Longhorns could see a dozen players drafted, while the other could sign as undrafted free agents (UDFA).
