The dominant outing led Attleboro's Bishop Feehan High School to a crucial 5-1 victory over Moses Brown, punching the Shamrocks' ticket to the MIAA postseason.

The southpaw was simply untouchable, setting a new program record for strikeouts in a single game. This wasn't just a flash of brilliance—it was the latest chapter in what has been a season-long showcase of elite talent. Bumila has firmly inserted himself into the conversation for the country's overall Athlete of the Year candidate for the 2025-26 season.

Earlier this spring, Bumila showed flashes of this dominance. In mid-April, he tossed four perfect innings against St. John's, striking out nine batters on just 54 pitches in a 3-0 win. And in early April, despite a 6-5 loss to Hopkinton, he returned to the mound for two innings and struck out all six batters he faced on only 20 pitches.
