Texas A&M’s offense just got a glimpse of the future, and it’s looking sharp. Freshman wide receiver Aaron Gregory recently hit the practice field with former Aggie star KC Concepcion, who was selected 24th overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2026 NFL Draft—making him the first Texas A&M wideout to go that high since future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in 2014.

In a video released by the team, Concepcion is seen running crisp routes while Gregory—a former blue-chip recruit—showcases the smooth hands and polished footwork that had Aggie media buzzing during spring ball. Set to debut this fall, Gregory is projected as the primary backup to Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton at the X receiver spot.

Horton, who stands 6'4" and brings experience from three seasons at Miami plus a stint with the Crimson Tide, racked up 511 yards and eight touchdowns last year. His presence softens the blow of losing Concepcion, but Gregory’s size, fluid route-running, and soft hands could earn him early reps in specific packages. Head coach Mike Elko is known for rotating heavily when depth allows, and Gregory is making a strong case to be part of that rotation.

He’s not the only freshman turning heads—Madden Williams, Jayden Warren, and Mike Brown also impressed this spring as future impact players. But Gregory’s combination of physical tools and polish suggests he could be a key piece in the Aggies’ evolving offensive puzzle.
