It's officially postseason time for Tennessee softball, and the Lady Vols are ready to make some noise. After being selected as the No. 7 national seed on May 10, Tennessee will kick off its NCAA Tournament journey by hosting an exciting regional in Knoxville.
The Lady Vols (42-10) are set to face Northern Kentucky (26-23) on May 15 at 5:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. But the competition doesn't stop there—Tennessee will also welcome No. 26 overall seed Virginia and Indiana to town for what promises to be a thrilling double-elimination regional.
Virginia (38-13) and Indiana (42-14) will square off in the second game on May 15 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2, setting the stage for an action-packed weekend of softball.
This marks Tennessee's 23rd NCAA Tournament appearance overall and an incredible 22nd consecutive trip to the big dance. Even more impressive, it will be the 21st straight NCAA regional hosted right here in Knoxville.
