The NCAA transfer portal is officially open, and the Tennessee Volunteers are already seeing movement. Following Michigan's 69-63 national championship victory over UConn, freshman guard Troy Henderson plans to enter the portal, according to a report from Joe Tipton of On3.
Henderson, a 6-foot-1 guard, saw action in 28 games during the 2025-26 season, contributing averages of 1.8 points and one assist per game. His decision adds his name to a growing list of Vols exploring new opportunities, joining power forwards Cade Phillips and J.P. Estrella, along with combo guards Clarence Massamba and Bishop Boswell.
This roster reshuffle comes on the heels of another successful campaign under head coach Rick Barnes, who led Tennessee to its third straight Elite Eight appearance. The program is also looking ahead, having secured a commitment from Belmont transfer guard Tyler Lundblade earlier this month. As the offseason unfolds, all eyes will be on how the Vols rebuild their backcourt for the next chapter.
