Tennessee (29-15, 10-11 SEC) baseball will next play Tuesday against West Georgia (11-33, 8-13 ASUN) at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
Three weeks remain in the regular season ahead of the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Alabama.
The Vols will play at Kentucky, against Texas (May 8-10) and Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (May 14-16) to conclude SEC regular-season play.
On Tuesday ahead of the Tennessee-West Georgia game, Baseball America released its latest NCAA Tournament field projections.
Tennessee is projected to play in the Chapel Hill Regional as a two seed, hosted by No. 4 overall seed North Carolina. No. 3 seed Saint Joseph’s and No. 4 seed Binghamton are also projected for the regional in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The Vols will open their three-game series at Kentucky on Friday (6:30 p.m. EDT). Game 2 on Saturday is slated for 2 p.m. EDT, while a series finale will be contested May 3 at 1 p.m. EDT. All games can be watched on SEC Network+.
