The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't win the NFC South Division title last season, which was major news considering the apparent caliber of the other teams in the division.
That means the 2026 NFL season is one in which they'll be looking for a big bounceback. They've still got Baker Mayfield at the helm, although Mike Evans is gone. The 2026 NFL Draft could help build the roster back up, and with the good vibes of Emeka Egbuka's selection a year ago, Bucs fans have plenty of reason to be excited about this year's draft.
The Bucs are still in one of the weaker divisions in football, and if they can snag some affordable, young talent this weekend, they can build up their future in a major way around their veteran talent.
With the first round on Thursday, second and third rounds on Friday and fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, we'll be keeping track here of everything the Bucs do during the draft.
The Buccaneers enter the 2026 NFL Draft with 7 picks to make:

WR: The Bucs could certainly lose a long-term replacement for Mike Evans. They've got smaller, shiftier pass catchers, but the draft is a chance to find a bigger target to fill Evans' red-zone role.
Linebacker: Lavonte David retired. There's no replacing him directly, but the Bucs need to consider seeing if they can find a new version of David at some point.
EDGE: The Buccaners were led in sacks by Yaya Diaby in 2025, with seven. They need to eventually find a guy who can get them double-digit sacks.
Here's how the Buccaneers' draft could work out, based on the seven-round mock draft from SN's Vinnie Iyer.
