The Minnesota Twins put on a show Tuesday night, cruising to an 11-3 victory over the Washington Nationals. It was a complete team effort, but starting pitcher Taj Bradley stole the spotlight with another dominant performance.

Bradley (4-1) delivered six strong innings, allowing just two runs on four hits. After a shaky start—giving up a run in the first and putting two on in the second—he locked in and retired 10 straight batters. The right-hander struck out eight, with five of those coming on his devastating curveball. It was his fifth quality start in eight outings this season, setting the tone for the Twins from the mound.

Offensively, it was a balanced attack. Every batter in the lineup reached base except Royce Lewis—who still drove in a run and scored—and Kody Clemens, who walked twice and crossed the plate three times. The Twins grabbed the lead in the second inning when Brooks Lee laced a double to bring home two runs. But the game really broke open in the fourth.

Austin Martin sparked a four-run rally with a single, loading the bases after Clemens and Luke Keaschall drew walks. Martin scored on a fielder's choice that turned into an error by Nationals starter Cade Cavalli, keeping the bases loaded. Lewis followed with a sacrifice fly, and Trevor Larnach capped the inning with a two-run double. The Twins sent all nine batters to the plate in the frame.

They kept adding on, including a big eighth inning when Byron Buxton crushed a three-run homer—his team-leading 11th of the season. It was the kind of night where everything clicked.

Now the Twins turn to Bailey Ober (3-1, 3.55 ERA) for the second game of the series, scheduled for 5:45 p.m. CT. He'll face Miles Mikolas (0-3, 8.23) of the Nationals. If the Twins can keep this momentum going, they'll be tough to stop.
