MUMBAI: As expected, Triumph Knights Mumbai North East have retained India's T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav and Mumbai and Chennai Super Kings opening batter Ayush Mhatre, while Sobo Mumbai Falcons have retained Kings captain Shreyas Iyer for the fourth season of T20 Mumbai League. Andheri Arcs have retained India's hero of the last two T20 World Cups, allrounder Shivam Dube, alongwith Pragesh Kanpillewar and seamer Deepak Shetty.The Atul Ranade coached- Triumph Knights have retained allrounder Suryansh Shedge, currently a part of Punjab Kings' squad in IPL-2026, as well. Mhatre, who captained the India U-19 team to the title last year, couldn’t take part in the T20 Mumbai League last year as he was busy with the India Under-19 team’s camp ahead of the England tour. Defending champions Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals have released pacer Tushar Deshpande, who has played two T20Is for India is currently representing Rajasthan Royals in IPL-2026. Each of the eight teams were allowed to retain three players.Aakash Tigers have retained CSK batter Sarfaraz Khan, left-arm spinner Shams Mulani and opener Jay Bista.
