On International Mental Health Day, October 10th, something remarkable happened at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus put out a simple call to action, and our community responded in ways we never expected. Fans opened up, sharing deeply personal stories with the kind of trust usually reserved for close friends or family. These weren't just tales of hardship—they were heartfelt cries for connection, and we were ready to listen.
To honor these voices, we teamed up with Giuseppe Bertuccio D'Angelo, the founder and face of Progetto Happiness, for the third edition of Stories of Strength. This journey took us to three fans who had shared their stories online, turning vulnerability into connection through a shared value we hold dear: JUVENTINITÀ. It's that unbreakable bond that unites Bianconeri everywhere.
Meet the fans who embody this spirit. Hani, from Canada, is a member of JOFC Toronto. Johan, from Colombia, represents JOFC Colombia Bianconera. And Pietro, from Italy. Three men, three different countries, but all united by their passion for Juventus. They've faced their own battles and found the courage to share their stories and keep pushing forward. This focus on men wasn't accidental—according to the World Health Organization, depression is one of the leading causes of suffering among men, who often struggle to express emotions and tend to withdraw during tough times.
We visited them, listened to their experiences first-hand, and the goal was simple yet powerful: stand by them in their difficult moments and share their resilience with millions of others who might be facing similar mental health challenges. It's a reminder that no one has to face their struggles alone—and that sometimes, the strength we need comes from the community around us.
Launched in 2023 with the Men's and Women's First Teams, staff, and global voices, Stories of Strength aims to break the stigma around mental health, spark conversations, and encourage sharing. This season, Juventus chose to amplify the voices of its fans, because their stories matter just as much as any victory on the pitch. And with the same goal in mind, we created T.E.A.M. Strength (Tools for Empowerment And Mental Strength)—a series that continues to support and empower our community, on and off the field.
