In a Massachusetts courtroom, Adams outlined a complex history that began long before she ever worked for the Houston Texans wide receiver.

According to Adams, the two first connected about five years ago through Instagram messenger, when Diggs reached out to her about cooking for him. What started as a friendship eventually turned sexual, she explained, before Diggs formally offered her a job in February 2025. The terms were clear: she would live with him and prepare his meals for a weekly salary of $2,000, with the primary goal of keeping him healthy and on track for a strong comeback season.

Adams resided in Diggs' home from July through December 2025, but tensions began to boil over in November when a friend of Diggs' baby's mother allegedly accused Adams of spreading rumors about the athlete engaging in a sexual relationship with another female staff member, identified as Lindsay.
